Review on Lumi Wallet by Stephen Toluwani
Lumi wallet is quite robust in what it delivers but it's UI needs to be worked upon
The Lumi wallet is one of the decentralized crypto wallets that allows users store their private keys giving them the security of their funds. I must say, I really enjoyed using this wallet although it's UI designs didn't really fit my personality for usage yet the design is simple to understand and won't prove hard to new users on how to operate and make usage of the wallet services. The wallet really supports privacy which I will outline now; the onboarding process of the wallet is a very simple one, I just created a wallet and set up my pin for the wallet without any personal details asked for. As for The security, the wallet improved security using Face Identification or Fingerprint scanning. I liked that as a domestic security feature but one feature of its privacy is the HD wallet support. I for one has been seeing HD wallet in the Crypto sphere but never got to utilise it's features or learn more of it. On the Lumi wallet, using it's HD wallet support, every transaction I made on it generated me a new wallet address which is really cool as it keeps people away from viewing my transaction or tracking my current crypto financial statement.
Among it's other features include it's Dapp browser which worked so well on many Crypto Dapps sites and an in-app Crypto exchange. One feature that I really came to appreciate on this wallet is that transaction fees for every Crypto could be toggled. I am used to toggling gas fees for ethereum only but was surprised to see that even for Bitcoin, I could toggle my transaction fees. This is quite so far my second best feature found on this wallet. Its really recommended
Pros
- The cryptocurrencies that the Lumi wallet supports is a vast number. Though the only tokens on the wallet are ERC compliant tokens
- Users can toggle gas fees for all Cryptocurrencies supported on its app
- It is a HD wallet which means, it creates different addresses for each Transaction
- Wallet user privacy is conserved as no personal data is required to start up this wallet
- The domestic security features of this wallet is quite commendable as it ranges from PIN input to Face Identification and fingerprint scanner
Cons
- I personally having a nick for UI designs, the design wasn't really compatible to my likings
