Samourai is a Bitcoin wallet that try to bring always-on privacy to its users with many features that almost no Bitcoin wallet can offers. It protects users on many aspects and that's surprising that they make some efforts to dealing with the problems. Their ideas may be ideal and working at the time of writing; however, it is too early to say anything about a wallet that is at its beta stage
Pros
- - Samourai wallet is a wallet that can be used online, offline or with tor routing. With offline condition, it can secure the assets it's strong from the malicious online environment. Your device will become a cold wallet (top security type of wallet) when it is in offline mode. Transactions is allowed to me pushed even without mobile data. In Tor routing mode, the privacy will be prioritized as the identities of users will be hidden from the public. Samourai wallet owners will never get their IP exposed
- - By enabling SegWit technologies, Samourai wallet cut off the miner fees that bitcoin owners must pay while the transactions still move from wallets to wallets in a reason amount of time
- - It introduces a protocol called Dojo. It enables the mobile devices to become a full node which seems to be impossible with other wallets

- - I don't think the wallet is built for a wide range of people. In my opinion, it is specifically created to work for the developers who have much knowledge on Bitcoin blockchain. There are too many technological terms that require the deep understanding to use them properly
- - The design is not so beautiful and so simple that it is not unique or much different from the other wallets on the market
- - It is in its beta stage so there is no evidence or no IT expert users to test the features it offers
- - It takes to much time to initialize Tor features and I was annoyed by the delay of it. I don't really know what happened but I'm sure my phone was OK
