ZCash Swing GUI Wallet: The abandoned project
ZCash Swing GUI Wallet is a Linux OS based wallet for ZECash. It has no compiled version like .exe files that can be downloaded.
The wallet can not be used by a computer layman most especially it can not be used by users who aren’t familiar with the Linux OS terrain.
The process and procedures to install the wallet is too stressful as it requires memorizing many keywords such as:
"sudo apt-get install git default-jdk ant",
"ant -buildfile ./src/build/build.xml",
"chmod u+x ./build/jars/ZCashSwingWalletUI.jar", and many more commands.
Although this wallet is highly secure and protects the identity of users, the lack of maintenance of the platform made it a terrible wallet to use.
The last significant update on ZCash Swing GUI wallet was done in 2018. This shows how poorly managed the wallet has been over the years.
The wallet initially had good prospect but poor management killed the dream
There is no recently updated information about the wallet so I advise that users look elsewhere for better ZCash or crypto wallets
