Review on ZCash Swing GUI Wallet by Abraham Jeremiah
Zcash Swing GUI Wallet faces Stability issues and no further developments is put in Place
Trying to find a wallet that supports full Anonymity while using a privacy coin Zcash made me come across The Zcash Swing GUI wallet which is apparently available to only Linux Computers. Trying to follow up on using this wallet, I installed it on my Computer using some lines of codes and a scattered download compilation, I tried using this wallet. Before making use of the wallet, I checked GitHub to see how to operate this wallet. This wallet is really not suitable for me to use despite being a computer expert. The use of the wallet required some levels of expertise to handle and basic knowledge on command lines. This wallet is specifically not suitable for a beginner or even, anyone without a background knowledge of Computer to use. Its security although lies in the hands of the user and makes it easier to handle, although, malware's on one's computer can lead to loss of Private keys and loss of funds and without any extra security features in place for the wallet, this makes the wallet susceptible to hacks. The wallet also faces instability issues being a repository code on GitHub and this requires some knowledge on code writing and command line making it further unsuitable for use. No updates has been seen in regards to this wallet but that does not mean the wallet doesn't works. But for now, I will rather be sticking with other wallets that provide my privacy feature without making one go through all the stress Zcash Swing Wallet puts me through. If works comes back to being done on the wallet, it might be easy to use later but for now, it's not advisable

- This wallet gives complete power on running services using Zcash to the user
Cons
- There are no extensive security features on the wallet like 2FA and the rest
- Requires regular backing up of the wallet. And wallet requires an update every two months
- Available to only Linux PC
- Wallet faces instability issues and fixing such will require some expertise in command line execution
