Review on πŸš— NEXPEAK NX501: Advanced OBD2 Scanner and Car Diagnostic Scan Tool for All OBDII Vehicles After 1996 by Rob Parsons

Revainrating 2 out of 5

2 stars for a good bag. This is a $25 OBD2 reader at best.

Sorry, but this thing isn't $50-65. It's a regular $25 scanner in a larger body. There is absolutely nothing that sets it apart from cheaper models. Also an old USB charging cable, right? If you lose these, you better hope you still have one from your MP3 player days. It's not touchscreen, it has no wifi, it has no frills. My kitbest OBD scanner connected to my android is much more useful for $10 and free Carscanner app. Again, this is a regular scanner in a larger body. don't fall for tricks. Oh, and it doesn't have an internal battery. Sent mine back today.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Reliability
