I appreciate these plates but they leak through

I'm giving it four stars because you can't eat anything with moisture in it unless you eat it very quickly because it gets through your plate and onto your table quickly. But I really like these plates because I appreciate the fact that they don't contain any dyes or chemical smell. I will keep buying them! What's really crazy is that I can buy the same bowls and pour cereal milk in them and they won't leak! I buy small in very large batches for my four chihuahuas and feed them!

Composts very well! ; a bit thin with liquids/sauces after sitting on it for a while.

These products decompose in my compost heap in just a few days and I feel better about what may or may not happen to the things we throw in the trash. Do not recommend these plates or bowls for long term use (or second servings) of liquid dishes/sauces (e.g. instant oatmeal) unless you are a fast eater - they will become a bit brittle after the liquid has a been left on for a while. Overall worthwhile and better for the environment. They also stack much better than paper plates, take up less…

Wow, that's better than paper!

These plates are my favorite disposable plates. It holds up well, big enough to hold all the groceries I want and I feel good buying something renewable. Even if you don't care about the environment, they're still a great plate for things like BBQs where you need a durable plate. They also work great in the microwave. The only problem is that I still use two plates for some loads, but this load would require about 4 different brand paper plates. Also, the plates weren't meant to be served…
