Rust. leaves dirt in the water at the end

The first pot I received showed early signs of rust so I sent it back and replaced it. The second pot lasted longer before showing rust so I just kept using it. Now after a couple of years the rust is actually flaking off leaving debris in the water. Now it's garbage, unfortunately in a landfill, ugh. And no, I never washed the pot, I kept it clean and avoided scratches, I washed it with a soapy sponge and water. I would avoid this model and possibly the brand altogether as I assume the problem

This kettle is wonderful, no jokes and no fools.

I use it every day, I will definitely buy more for a friend or family. The extra large opening makes cleaning easier. As with any electric kettle, cold water takes a while to boil at maximum volume, so all of these reviews about how slow it is are either rubbish or these people are just not in touch with reality. Boils very quickly for 0.8 liters which is a common French press size, very smart for 1790 Co. to include volume marks that really apply to life. 5/5 again, buy it, it's worth it.

Compact Kettle

Great Kettle I bought it with bad reviews showing that the bottom of the kettle was rusty. After one use I saw how hot the kettle is. some water is left in the kettle to allow the liquid to cool without burning or cracking parts of the kettle. Good size kettle, used about 20oz of water and took about 4 minutes to bring. Cook. The lid is spring-loaded to open with a cool blue light to indicate it's on. The ON-OFF switch is not spring loaded, after you're done you have to lift the switch back up…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons

no complaints for 3 months

It's bigger than my previous glass teapot (Capresso), has no plastic inside except for the hinge, heats water quickly and turns off when left dry. It has a comfortable grip and is comfortable to hold. There are no difficulties in it: just a switch and a button to open the lid. I thought I'd be a little annoyed by the blue lights that come on when the device is on, but I like it. One reason: I would take it for granted if I left it on. Another reason: I can see the water level when I fill up - I

Nice design, plastic doesn't come into contact with water

Whilst I like this kettle the design is what matters most to me, I wanted it to have a mid-century modern look and LED lighting. The light is not glaring but still creates a cool blue effect when cooking. The time it takes to boil the maximum amount of 1.8L = 10min 8s to a complete stop. And the water surprisingly stays hot/warm for a while. I was also looking for a glass teapot without contact with plastic, after reading many reviews of various similar styles I decided on this one and I wasn't

  • Confident

  • No automatic

Cheap garbage! for kitchen and dining room

I really want it to work. It was larger than our regular kettle and could have made life a lot easier, but it didn't. I bought it because my mother in law came for a month and I need 2 teapots. I took our little one to her room and suffered for a month. Not with my mother in law, I love her! I won the MIL lottery with her! When she was here, I suffered from this teapot for a month. The lid NEVER opened when I pressed the button, hot cold, NEVER new out of the box! Also, it has NEVER turned…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive

The only review you need to read!

I have read many reviews on this product and here are my answers (followed by my overall review): Plastic There are no plastic parts that come into direct contact with water. However, the lid loop is plastic and is located inside the kettle. Although not in contact with water, it heats up and gives off a slight plastic smell. The vapor collected on the plastic loop will drip into the water if you really care about plastic contact with water. .Auto power off It takes some time for the auto power

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Can I add anything else
