Levers work great, rim protectors are junk. I thought they were plastic but they are soft rubber. When you first use the levers and pry them off, the treads just fall apart. In the end I just used leverage and was careful.

The metal spoon doesn't go very far into the handle, it goes into the plastic about half an inch. The first time I used it to change a rail, I broke it Spoon with rail requires a lot of leverage, but the handles cannot be used to achieve that leverage as the spoon goes no more than half an inch into the handle .

Handles feel good, 14.5 inches is a good length for strength and the spoons are well shaped. The rim protectors are also pretty easy to put on and stay in place. Unfortunately, the photos can be seen after one use. The spoons are already chipping off the chromium-nickel coating on the tip, which needs to be smooth to avoid damaging the new tire when fitted. There is no point in covering these tools. If you want corrosion resistance, go for aluminum, but if it's too weak, anodize or powder it…
