This should cover up the cheap plastic in my car. It looks much better now and was relatively easy to do. A heat gun is required and, most importantly, patience.

Very disappointed. The product is fairly easy to apply, but it doesn't hold even in those places where nothing has been stretched. It came out great but fell off after a few hours in the car. 3M has waived this.

Very realistic appearance. Excellent adhesion, holds heat well. The only complaint about the paper base. The roll I received was wound very tightly, just let it unfold, the liner came loose in a few places.

Very good results. After destroying some of the glitter and giving up, I gave it a try. So much easier. Use gentle heat to warm it up and bend it slightly. This is my first vinyl wrap project but check out the tutorials on YouTube. Get an installation kit with small tools and a very, very sharp and small blade. Follow the edges. Heating the vinyl will help find the seams.

This is a 3M product which normally means excellent quality. This carbon fiber look vinyl is stiffer than many other vinyls. It doesn't stretch that easily (and you would notice that because of the pattern). Unfortunately, between rigidity and lack of adhesion, I would only recommend places where you can tuck in the edges or wrap the object completely. I'm sure it will hold up well as it's quite thick.

Just wanted to confirm this film is from 3M Di-Noc. Fast delivery from the supplier, well packaged. I will probably buy many more of them. Di-Noc can be easy or difficult to install depending on the part. Just make sure you have plenty of patience, blow dry and buy 3M Primer 94 to improve adhesion on the edges and some of the more difficult valleys of your project. I was very impressed with this product having bought other carbon fiber vinyl wraps this is by far the best. This thing looks a lot like real carbon fiber and has a nice texture that looks a lot like carbon fiber. The installation itself was relatively easy. I was a bit hesitant to buy because I saw reviews that said the product isn't great, difficult to install, or doesn't stretch.
