Should have bought this puller sooner.

I have to start by saying this is not the correct harmonic balancer puller for the 1994 Mustang GT UNLESS you have had the misfortune of breaking the crankshaft drive pulley bolts in the balancer are. . That being said, I knew I still needed to replace the balancer, so I wasn't worried about damaging it. For those who have a problem with broken bolts this tool is a must as there really is no other option unless you want to drill out class 8 bolts. I chose this tool and am happy with it. My…

Great puller set!

I needed a set of pullers to remove the AC compressor thrust clutch on my car and this set of 3 pullers with 3 ABN claws did the job with ease! The pullers are very well made from forged, hardened steel and the handles are reversible so they can remove both internal and external pulleys. What was particularly interesting to me was that each of the three tools could be set for both short and long reaches, making these pullers much more versatile than other brands. The jaws of these gear pullers…

Low price and high quality puller set

This is a very useful set of three grip pullers. Each puller has two grip positions, which allows the puller screw to be positioned as close as possible to the center shaft it is pulling against. The jaws can be adjusted to grip the outside of the rim or between the spokes to grip the inside of the rim. The price is very low for this puller set. The user should be aware that the short screws holding the jaws should be hand tightened only and that a pair of washers, a short length of pipe or a…

I've been using pullers like this for about 15 years and have never had one.

The tool works great. Some have complained about loose bolts and the need for locknuts. The whole purpose of this tool is to be adjustable. I've been using these pullers for about 15 years and have never had a problem with a bolt falling out or falling off during use. The density of the fingers is sufficient. This is a tool to be aware of when ordering as it's not a simple screwdriver that any fool can buy and use. Don't berate a tool because you don't understand how to use it or what it's for.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • The list will be long.
