Not the best replacement part quality

This switch broke when I connected the electrical connector to it. I was quite surprised. The return was easy and hassle free.

Pros
  • Fuel tank selector switch
Cons
  • High price

Chinese production. No US replacement part.

Works as it should, nothing else is needed. Bought a genuine Delco part, wasn't expecting Chinese stuff or I would have looked elsewhere.

Very cheaply made, do not buy.

I installed this in about a minute so it's good. The problem is when the rocker switch came loose from the lever and had to be put back in place. There was a bead of glue that must have been the cheapest glue to hold it. Skip it or just know that you have to glue the switch properly so it doesn't fall apart.

84 K10 - Real GM? Made in Taiwan!

Update: I used epoxy on the tabs holding the switch together. So far this is working as I expected. So I'll wave payment for the job. I'll leave my one star review so other people know what they're getting into. The label on the switch indicates that this device is made in Taiwan. Not very well designed. During installation, the two main parts diverged. This caused the spring and ball that centers the switch and creates the click to separate. I reassembled the switch and secured the two mainโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Some bugs

They don't sell the single wire version anymore so I had to use the multi wire version where the sensors switch also in the valve. This is a snap switch that only activates when you press the switch all the way down (does not work for the fuel pump circuit). The switch is larger than the original switch on my 1975 so I had to trim the dash to fit. I had to make an e-bolt out of sheet metal to secure the switch. Connect the auxiliary tank sensor wire to one of the other original wires on theโ€ฆ
