Definitely a lot thinner than pictured. The ends are almost indistinguishable in size from the pole itself. I used several curtains for the thinnest I had and none of them held. I would not recommend them.

It's THIN! even the video shows a thicker pole! Thin easily broken stuff! Decoy tactic! I was going to use these to hold some long curtains and one for a shower curtain, but these things are dainty!

The one on the right in the video was purchased at a local Walmart. It has a "seam" or gap where the metal wrapped around it doesn't fully fuse together. This was a problem because if it flexed a little I couldn't adjust the length of the bar. But these NEW rods are MUCH better. THESE RODS HAVE NO SEAM. Each is a solid tube. The rods are well made and I expect a long service life. I will order another set, I am very satisfied.

These rods can be used for more than just window holding. I have a small cart on wheels that I use as extra space for serving and cooking. Below is a shelf with a slight ledge on the right and left but open in the front and back. Everything on this shelf can vibrate forwards or backwards as the cart rolls to where it's needed. To provide a barrier I bought these extensions and attached them between the side legs supporting the shelf, about an inch or so above the shelf. It worked like a charm!

These rods are listed with an opening of up to 70 inches. Well when I received the package I thought it was a bit small and flimsy to hold this item but when I opened the package I saw that they were very small, flimsy and cheap. All instructions are in Chinese. They're also in centimeters, not inches, so they don't go far. They might be good for some purposes, but they aren't fit for the use I wanted...
