Excellent mattress. The air pump was disassembled into many parts. The shipping box was undamaged, but the inner box and pump were damaged. I needed a mattress for my grandson to sleep on tonight so couldn't return it. Thank goodness my hair dryer and water pillow inflation adapter worked to inflate it.

The mattress seems to be fine. My toddler used it on a 3 day trip with no problems. The pump is a different story. It is very weak and cheap plastic. The first order came broken so we ordered it again because we liked the size and shape of the mattress. The second one wasn't broken, but the pump is too fragile for what it is.

Today is 10th August 2021 Well I missed returning this air mattress by a day! I used it for my grandson for the first time when it turned out great. I originally gave this thing two stars because it took a while before I needed topping up air every few days and then it quickly got to the point where it would go flat at night with my 70 pound granddaughter sleeping on it . I bought this air mattress in July knowing we were going on a trip to Tennessee in September. I never took the mattress out of the box before our trip, I inflated the mattress with no problem, I left the room and when I came back the air mattress was deflated. This is the first time I've felt motivated enough to write a review and I can honestly say this air mattress was the worst purchase I could have made can do. I bought it to let my 6 year old son sleep on the floor in his 7 year old sister's room because he was suddenly afraid of sleeping alone. This air mattress does exactly what it was designed to do. And one child who used it found it very comfortable. And he didn't lose air for 4 days. The included pump makes inflation easy, but there was a problem with deflating. The valve has a silicon flap that deflates on inflation and the back pressure causes it to successfully spring back over the port when the pump is removed to prevent air from escaping (before the protective cap is screwed on).
