I received this a few days ago so it's too early to tell if it will make a difference in mosquito repellent. I live in southern Arizona and we have a lot of mosquitoes. I'm her favorite snack and get bitten a few times. I hate using chemicals and some organic products still leave my skin feeling greasy. UPDATE August 8, 2020 3 units bought March 3, 2020 one given away. I bought them because the other houses in our complex suffered from terrible rodent infestations and I didn't want to have that problem. It turns out: the mice were only in one room and long gone; All they left behind was their poop before I installed the device. No mice now. They were little mice. It's almost impossible to see their little poop. Insects don't bother me. No birds will nest or get stuck in the sidings or gutters.
