Pay attention to the expiry date.

I was sent an outdated and possibly expired tube. It crumbles instantly and dries in seconds. I'm sure the product is great. But be careful who you buy it from. The expiration date probably passed a few years ago.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

It lasted a season and a half and the rest of the tube is useless

I got this at an oven shop so it was "fresh" when I bought it (for a lot of money) and used it usually. But 1.5 seasons of burning firewood and everything comes off. It was not possible to pull it out of the tube and warm it up. After 5 inches of non-sticky product, I was finally able to get enough out of the tube to replace the 5 inch piece that came off while standing on the tube. Add me to the never buy again list.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Save your money

Replacement cable grommet on my interior door, 1/2" cable. Went through two tubes that must have come from an old warehouse. I couldn't get the cement out of the first tube unless it was in a vise. The nozzle on the second pipe was clogged, then it jerked out. I finally had enough drain cover to start laying the rope seal. fell off immediately. Back to the liquid, which isn't much better either: you'd think by 2018 someone would invent a product that would easily do the job.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete
