Works great on Detonation

Fits my 97 Subaru Legacy L well. Appears to be made by the same company as the OEM (UNISIA JECS). Installation was easy - just make sure you route the cable correctly or you'll crack the sensor when you tighten the screw. UPDATE 08/26/17. Still runs great after 53,000 km.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Update available

Knock Sensor Fits

is present If you have a knock sensor code stored in your Subaru ECU and the sensor is plugged in, you will likely need to replace the sensor. This sensor was cheaper than the local store, even with shipping. It is a recognized good brand. The light went out by itself. All is well.

Pros
  • Sensors Certified
Cons
  • Negative

Direct replacement for 1997 Subaru Legacy L 2.2L EJ22.

Purchased to repair engine condition and code P0325. The OEM sensor has a crack on the outer cover. To date, this spare has survived about 6 months of teenage driving, including prolonged idling in the school parking lot with the air conditioning on. I would call that a pretty fair test of strength.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Faulty
