In my opinion this works better if you are planning on watching TV in bed as you can prop it up against a wall or the headboard. I tried to use it on my loveseat while studying and my back was starting to hurt. If you're reading (hunched over) then no point. As someone who uses her laptop for gaming, studying or working on her bed, I suffer from back pain whenever I sit for a couple mins and this pillow helps a ton. My only issue is with the neck comforter but I don’t like anything around my neck in general so the fact that I have the option not to use it makes me like the pillow even more. So this thing is great! Though I think it's pricey for a pillow, that's apparently common for this style of pillow so overall happy with the purchase. I bought it to sit in bed and do homework for hours on end (college problems) anyway it works well, it's super soft, and helps back support. Only thing is the head pillow part is removable (which is fantastic) but it's attached by snap buttons and creates a space of about 3/4 of an inch between the main pillow and head pillow. I use this "pillow" to work from my laptop on my bed and it is extremely comfortable. I purchased a different one (much more expensive) that was far too rigid in the arm rest area so I couldn't comfortably move my arms and elbows. I really really love this one. (I'm petite; only 5'2" so don't know if that comes into play.)

Great support. A little so much but it can lean back to get a better position for me. Very Soft and the cover partially unzips to remove/add the cotton. The head piece buttons onto the top but I removed it. I let it sit for a couple of days before using however it didn't need to be. No smell was detected upon opening. I'd buy it again. This product is advertised for adults but is much better for small children particularly under 6.We bought this to read in bed or use when someone has a cold to be propped up.My son loves who has is 4 and weighs 35lbs really likes reading on it. It’s perfect for him to snuggle and read in bed.It is a poor product for adults, especially those who are tall or weigh over 150lbs. It is very soft and does not provide any support. Has held up well for breast-feeding my 6 month old. Cleaned easy and does not hold smell. Fairly easy to reshape. Just wish it was a little taller for taller people I’m 59 but it’s still was comfortable and works.

My daughter had surgery and need something to sit up in bed with. I actually purchased two different things. This and a much more expensive extravagant set. This one was the winner by far. The material is incredibly soft, with just the right amount of cushion. It’s not incredibly firm and it’s not incredibly soft but right in the middle. I am recovering from surgery and confined to bed for 6 weeks with a back brace so thought this would be great.
