Great batteries

I bought 3 packs of 24 batteries I think now. I'll probably be making another purchase next week or so to prepare for gifts my kids will be getting for Christmas. They retain their charge when stored for long periods. Of course I think the maximum time I had to leave them unused was around 3 months. They are all charged efficiently and quickly by my Nitecore charger.

Pros
  • Retains up to 70% charge after 10 years (when not in use)
Cons
  • Some bugs

My favorite battery

I love eneloop batteries. I don't try other brands of mics because I use them for my mics. I have 16 wireless mics and charge them after two four hour gigs. I've never had problems with the amount of energy. I've had a few where the outer shell was starting to wear off. I ended up re-covering them after watching a YouTube video. The batteries I resoldered were 6 years old (1200 impressions).

Pros
  • Factory pre-charged with solar energy and ready to use
Cons
  • Something different

Eneloop is a brand you can trust

We started using eneloop branded batteries over 10 years ago when they were part of SANYO. Panasonic acquired SANYO batteries and continued manufacturing and improving eneloop brand batteries. Our oldest batteries are over 10 years old and still working. These batteries actually retain most of their charge even when stored. We have become so used to these batteries that they now power so many things in the house. I recently bought 24 more AA batteries and the last time I bought them they were…

Pros
  • No memory effect - batteries can be fully or partially discharged
Cons
  • Can't remember
