It's a little difficult to squeeze a preschooler's wobbly foot into these shoes, but that's true of any jazz shoe of this style. They are great quality and gender neutral (so perfect for my son). He wears a size 9.5 outdoor shoe and size 10 gives him enough room to grow without getting too big.

My daughter wears an 11.5/12. I bought 11.5 and they fit great although they have some room. So they fit perfectly, at least for her.

Soft leather jazz shoes. My 6 year old daughter wears them to jazz class once a week. They fit your dancer feet after a few wears. This style of jazz shoes is ideal for narrow feet. I would buy 1/2 size smaller.

Jazz shoes are good quality but I originally bought them too big. My daughter is 6 and wears a size 13 sneakers. After a few returns (thank god for Revain Prime) she finally got a 12 1/2 in which fits comfortably with little room to grow.

Bloch are great shoes. My daughter competes in dance and these are the required shoes for year 3. They hold their shape well and fit well.

Super jazz is true to size. Don't oversize. I had to return my first order because I chose half a size larger than their current same brand jazz shoes. Had to go back for street size shoes.

Our studio needs these shoes. We usually go through 2-3 pairs a year. My daughter dances about 15 hours a week. After 4 months of heavy dancing, she develops holes in her toes. She is currently in between sizes. Size ranges from children's 1.5 to women's 4. 4 is too big and 1.5 is too tight. I wish they were in between sizes because that's quite a size jump. It has a street size of 2 - 2.5

The size corresponds to the size grid. Wears the same size as street shoes. Good product. That is undoubtedly enough for the whole year of dance lessons. We used Bloch tap shoes and they are great quality too!
