A Comparison Of Five Great Password Books. See Photos

This past Christmas I decided to give password books with gifts for friends and family members. I've found my own to be super useful and am writing this review to share a comparison of the ones I purchased here on Walmart.I'm uploading some photos that will tell you more than my words here do. Below are links for the books, in the same order they are laid out in the first photo I'm posting.Book #1 is the red one I personally own and love, (this one is not currently available here but for…

Pros
  • Forms, Recordkeeping & Money Handling
Cons
  • The book can easily get lost due to its small size

Not going to be big enough.

I like the idea of it but I'm going to need a second book. I have to many passwords for just one. Granted I'm only storing passwords to wedsights that the whole house can get to ones that don't matter. They are also the ones I forget the quickest. So I tried to grab the one my husband ordered he said get my own so guess I'll be getting a second one. This time I would like more room for notes. A place I can write down thows pesky verification questions.

Pros
  • Saves time by providing quick access to your passwords
Cons
  • The book doesn't have a search function, making it difficult to quickly find specific passwords

I made a short video to see if it's for you. There aren't many products like this, so you many not have many options. This seems to be a best seller for the company, so I'd like to give my input so it could better help me personally.Tabs:I'd like to be able to flip through tabs to find the letter easier.Wider lines for writing:It pains me to write so small, and it's annoying to try and read it because I always will have to use my reading glasses. BTW, my last phonebook had more narrow lines, so…

Pros
  • Record Books
Cons
  • The cover material feels cheap and flimsy

Fell Apart best in my review

I like the product but hate the spiral binding. After I started using it the binding started falling apart. The front cover and some of the pages came out of the binding and even tried putting them back in but it doesn’t hold. I would have given 5 stars if it didn’t fall apart on me. The pages themselves are great and lots of room to add information about the website and the size is perfect. I got the one that was the 8 1/2 x 11 size.

Pros
  • Comes in a bright and colorful cover to easily identify
Cons
  • The book can easily get damaged in transit due to its small size and flimsy cover

Works perfectly! best in my review

I use this product for work, as I manage a lot of different passwords for various accounts.- The cover is simplistic and has a clear plastic overlay that is dense, so pages within stay neat and don't get easily damage when the book is in use or stored.-The pages are straight forward, with larger font, and (I got the large pad) offers plenty of room to write in the Website name, password, and even notes for each entry.- it's alphabetized, so passwords are easy to organize and quick to find.- The

Pros
  • Provides ample space to store your passwords
Cons
  • The wire-O binding can become loose with frequent usage

Revainrating 5 out of 5

it has given me peace of mind

this was a GREAT purchase! 4 passwords per page- and notes for that website, the print is large enough to see (when you're over 40-that really makes a difference) all the space you'll need for information you want to keep close at hand. Easy to fill out- it's great! There are enough pages for each letter- and a couple of extra pages at the end if you need them. I would buy again- or get them for gifts. I take care of all of the household finances, and well.everything household, If anything…

Pros
  • Durable wire-O binding keeps pages intact
Cons
  • There aren't enough pages to store all the login information for multiple accounts

Nice product. Made in the USA & Veteran-Owned

I just received the 5x7 version. Each page has room for 4 separate entries. For the letters that aren't used very much there are 3 pages for a total of 12 entries. For the rest of the letters, there are 4-6 pages for each letter for a total of either 16, 20, or 24 entries. In the back, there are also 16 entry spaces under the heading "123."And there is definitely enough line space and width to write in large letters/numbers if one needs. The paper is a decent thickness and the book has a nice…

Pros
  • Nice but I ordered the one with two entry spaces.
Cons
  • There aren't enough categories to organize passwords

This book was purchased as a gift for one of my elderly neighbors. I went to help her with her computer and saw a pile of post-it notes all over the room covered in passwords. This book is similar to an old fashion address book but instead of names and numbers, people can put usernames and passwords, alphabetized by website.I would recommend this book for anyone that has trouble remembering passwords. If your computer is hacked, the list will not be anywhere on the computer and the book keeps…

Pros
  • Great size for a password book. You can fit a decent amount of passwords in thus book.
Cons
  • The book is not durable enough to last long-term use

Great way to make your life easier!

For years I've used just a Mead memo spiral note book to put URL's and passwords into. When I needed to find a webpage I had to look through the book page by page. I decided there had to be something better so I did an Walmart search. Found the BookFacory Password Journal. It is almost perfect. The size is great - about 51/4 by 4 inches, maybe 1/2 inch thick. Nice thick plastic protection for the front and back covers. Alphabetical pages - no more going through each page. If I were to change…

Pros
  • The only thing lacking is an email heading.
Cons
  • The wire-O binding can easily snag on other items in your bag

Absolutely Love this!

I love this product. I am always looking for notebooks to hold all of my passwords and this is just what I was looking for! I found it on Pinterest and I am in love with it! Highly recommend

Pros
  • Easy to carry around with its compact size
Cons
  • The password organizer overall is not user-friendly

Good journal for my opinion

I'm one of those people who uses a different password for every site. Because many are quite complex, I do need to record them. Fortunately, this is for home, so writing them down in a book, works OK. I like this journal because there are lots of lines under each entry, allowing space to write in new passwords when you change them. I also like the fact that it lies flat when opened. That's handy when you are entering those passwords with upper case letters and special symbols. So, the…

Pros
  • Helps keep sensitive information well-organized
Cons
  • The wire-O binding can easily bend out of shape over time

Great after I notched the pages myself

I didn’t like that it didn’t have tabs for the individual letters so I just notched all the pages myself. Was super easy and took about 10 minutes. Now the book is exactly what I wanted. It’s a great little book, small and basic, just what I was looking for.

Pros
  • Archival safe, acid-free, 60 lb. paper, Page Dimensions: 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Cons
  • The pages are not perforated, making it difficult to tear out unwanted pages

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not too functional for me☺

I purchased this little book years ago, and really liked it!Now, the updated one is not as suitable for me.They've increased the alphabetical entries spaces.,but as a result, the lines to write on are Smaller. I write pretty large, so I'm forced to write fewer notes. It makes a page look quite cluttered when filled.Would have been nicer to add more pages. I already started writing before l noticed the smaller lines.Sadly, I'll not reorder this one again😳

Pros
  • Makes it easy to update and change passwords regularly
Cons
  • The book doesn't have any kind of organizational system outside of the pre-selected categories

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Handy, But Insufficient

Pros: Clean modern design. Sturdy frosted plastic cover, front and back. Spiral binding is good quality. Notes section at the bottom of each page is very useful. Easy to locate in a desk drawer with the asterisks, and doesn't blatantly advertise "PASSWORDS!" on the cover like some others.Cons: Too many lines allocated for multiple passwords for one site (6 lines?!) when those would have been better used for the notes section. But here's where the two stars disappeared to: there are not enough…

Pros
  • A secure way to store your sensitive information
Cons
  • The translucent cover can become discolored over time

Perfect for Written Info

Intuitive that it has more space for the most common letters like "S" in the book. Love that it has plenty of space for extra notes, specific website along with email, username and password. I have dozens and in the case I do run out of room I use 1 page for 2 or 3 different password information. There is lots of space to accomodate

Pros
  • This is my second order as these little books proved to be effective and easy to use.
Cons
  • The pages are too thin and can easily tear

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It does the job - my new review

I didn't have super high expectations. It's a book. The alphabet's in order. It doesn't rip super easily. Exactly what you expect out of the product when you buy it. It's a little small, but If you read the measurements you know what to expect. Not super small, but not not full page side. I guess that's good though if you wanna hide it.

Pros
  • Easy backup in case of a device crash
Cons
  • The translucent cover makes it difficult to read the book in direct sunlight or bright lighting

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small and Useful good for me

Super cute. It’s small so I can hide it somewhere safe if needed. It has letters on the corners of the pages so that you are able to keep everything alphabetized. Both the front and back cover have a plastic page on the outside which makes it more durable. I definitely recommend this password organizer.

Pros
  • Detailed labels for quick identification of specific accounts
Cons
  • The wire-O binding can get in the way of typing, making it difficult to use while working on a computer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Product best in my review

I’ve purchased these several times for myself, family members & co-workers. Everyone loves them and the book is an absolute life saver. Sturdy and easy to use. Tip: write in pencil, so you can erase and re-write updated passwords.

Pros
  • Perfect for both personal and professional use
Cons
  • The wire-O binding can cause discomfort or scratches when kept in a tight space

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great Password Book

This product is exactly as described and is perfect for those who need a place to store their passwords! I appreciate the alphabetically-ordered pages and the satisfactory quality.

Pros
  • I previously used
Cons
  • The pages are not lined, making it difficult to write neatly

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's just the right size!

There are a few things that please me about this product. First, it's a great size - not too small, not too big, and it includes many lines for information about each password entry.

Pros
  • Made in USA, Proudly Produced in Ohio. Veteran-Owned.
Cons
  • The book is too thick, making it difficult to store in small spaces
