Description of πŸ”Œ Bosch Automotive (9610) OE Double Iridium Spark Plug - Single with Fine Wire Design

Double Iridium electrodes - iridium firing pin and iridium ground electrode inlay - offer higher performance. OE-matched spark position for compatibility with Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) technology. Nickel-plated rolled threads provide superior resistance to corrosion and do not require anti-seize for installation. Bosch Double Iridium spark plugs are pre-gapped at the factory and do not require a gap adjustment prior to installation. Meets or exceeds manufacturer design requirements for modern gasoline engines to provide OE fit, form and function, while delivering 4X longer service life when compared to standard copper spark plugs.

Good set of spark plugs, best at Ignition Parts

Replaced old iridium after mileage dropped to 36mpg. After 5,000 miles with new spark plugs, fuel economy is over 38mpg and a smooth start.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing

Bosch no longer good for spark plugs

Purchased in December 2019 for my 2002 Passat v6. After 3 months and 10,000 km 3 of them failed. Glad I kept the old ones and could temporarily replace them. Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Wrong Spark Plug for 2006 Civic

review does not include spark plugs as these Bosch spark plugs are a great product as I already use them in one of our other cars. This review is more about the Revain installation guide. Do not order 9610 for a 2006 Honda Civic (1.8L), although Revain's installation manual says it is correct. I have to return them. The shaft of this plug (threaded part with ground electrode) is approx. 2-3 mm longer than OEM plugs. A further search of other suppliers and local stores shows that 9614 is a…

Pros
  • Good product for the price

  • weak
