Type of review

The airflow direction is left to right when viewed from the rear, which is right to left when viewed from the front, as shown in the figure. On the attached picture of the packaging (unfortunately not shown in the product photo), I marked the arrow with silver paint so that you can see it.

Works well but slowly leaks when turned off

Works great as a replacement regulator for my 29 gallon harbor freighter; However, it slowly leaks when it's off. The original compressor did the same a few years later. I installed a ball valve between the compressor switch and this regulator. I close the ball valve when I'm not using the compressor so the compressor tank isn't empty if I shut it down overnight. Problem solved.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Almost OK

Looks like a solid product because it's made by Bostitch.

Looks like a solid product because it's made by Bostitch but unfortunately was disappointed. I have previously purchased 3 regulators and they all leak and break when hand tightened. I thought maybe it was just a bad batch and threw it away. I ordered 3 more regulators for my spray guns, thinking that this time the problem would be solved, no. All 3 are leaking again at the top connection.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • unreliable

The perfect replacement!

Regulator and Gauge are a perfect replacement for my 8 gallon central air compressor (Port Freight item 69667). The original was torn because the quick release was too tight. When replacing, I paid particular attention to the assembly of the fittings. The body is made of "pot metal" and is very prone to tearing if the hardware is overtightened. Buying a replacement from Revain was MUCH easier than a warranty repair.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Seller Communications

Breathed new life into my compressor

I put this on a 15 year old master's 15 gallon compressor. The original gauge was a dual gauge that showed line pressure and tank pressure. Over the years the seals have hardened to the point where the tank was constantly draining. This gauge only reads line pressure but installation was quick, I no longer lose pressure and the gauge is clean and clear. easy to read. I kick myself for waiting so long to replace the sensor.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Secret

Good replacement for Husky HL410100 Air Compressor

I have a little used Husky HL410100 Air Compressor that is over 10 years old, the regulator failed on Sunday when I needed it. Received this part today, hooked it up to my compressor and it worked like the original. I hope 10 years is enough for me. The pressure gauge is supplied separately from the regulator but is fairly easy to fit. I just used my hands to hand tighten it, but you can use a wrench if you like. As for the assembly of the regulator itself, prior to installing the sensor I hand

Both apps worked great. This is a real regulator

I bought 2 of these. 1 to replace the regulator on a small compressor and the other to set the air pressure at a point of use on my air system in my workshop. Both apps worked great. This is a real regulator, not one that just disables the open percentage. I use it for a coiled flex hose that can't take the full pressure of my air compressor so I can set it to 120psi. The gauge is filled with pipe lubricant to seal the threads. You will need Teflon and pipe grease for the other two connections.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

This is exactly what I needed and it works great.

I'm rarely so happy with a product that I review it before Revain asks me to. but this is an exception. Last year I bought a #682619 center air control (HF) valve for my DeVilbiss pistol. I paint cars sometimes and I'm purely an amateur. This little regulator worked well, and when I bought a touch up gun last fall (ATD Tools 6903 HVLP Mini Touch Up Gun) I figured I'd use the same HF regulator on the paint gun. So I bought one of the tweeters last week. The gun needs an inlet of 29psi to get…

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Damaged
