User friendly: tools and equipment

Totally satisfied with these bearing dies. I saved myself $150 the first time I used them by just swapping out a front hub and intermediate shaft bearing on a Saturn. Much less later than I'm starting with the F350 4x4 Why I chose this tool The pin you put in and the punches come from the top. so i can use it my abs

They are great

loaned my drivers to someone and never got them back, needed some to have the cases restored but didn't want to spend $400 on them They will be fine some have over complained about the case they came in ha the case is as good or better than the Snap - I still don't understand how they can make them as well and sell them at this price as well as anyone I've ever had them used, will have them for a long time, don't plan on borrowing them lol

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

O-RING KIT: Brake Tools

I don't understand why they put an o-ring on the end of the actuator and an o-ring slot in the disc bore. Neither the o-ring on the actuator nor the o-ring groove on the disc match. They send some extra o-rings, I understand why, they break after a few uses. The floppy disk is not properly connected to the driver. I will create a new driver for it to get rid of the sloppy o-ring installation. Overall I like it, except for the careless holding of the o-ring. That's why I only gave 3 stars. I can

Excellent value for money. Multipurpose including turning

I bought this to fit races and seals whilst restoring a 40 year old Kubota steering gear that had destroyed itself. They worked great, and the three-star reviewer who cited the sloppy placement of the o-rings had apparently never installed bearings by hand before. The o-ring allows the primary bushing to tilt a few degrees for racing while the pilot bushing remains concentric. Maybe someone rolled this thing (L-285) in a past life because the steering column was hit pretty badly. So I had to…

Best value for money for this type of built-in socket device

The kit works like this: You select two washers, one that goes into the hub and the second that is the right size to precisely reach the rim of the hub you are installing. You place these two discs on one of the two mounting posts and then screw in a hex head screw (hex key included) to secure the discs to the bracket. You then drive the jack home by either hitting the end of the post or sliding the flat-ended tube over the post and hitting the end of the tube. There is no locking between…

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • The list is long.
