Received two of these and thought they were faulty. The company contacted me to make sure I got a working heater which is lovely. They informed me that you have to press the power button twice and then the light turns blue and it heats up if you press it just once, it behaves like a fan, it's not mentioned in the instructions but the Customer service was so supportive that it deserves a good rating.

Great inexpensive heater. It only has one temperature setting, but it fluctuates. The only negatives I found were the function keys and poor documentation. The instruction manual is pretty much useless, so note that the heater glows red. You have to wait about a minute before you press the button and it turns blue = warm. I also bought a 500 watt vibratory heater and regret not having bought 2 of these. This device features a full shutdown on the back and a standby/power mode, oscillating touch buttons on the top.
