Cheap and works! I rotated the bracket like this.

Cheap and It Works! I rotated the mount so my new Pro Angler's grip rested on it. This is better than using the straps as the only means of preventing the kayak from sliding forward.

Ideal for alternative applications.

I use this as a replacement stopper on my mirror lock. The 2" thick mounting hole fits my transom mount perfectly and securely holds the motor as it should. What more can I say, it just works.

Confused with the bolt hole.

This is a great nose pad made from good solid rubber so exactly what you expect. The specs/description say the hole is 3/8" which is correct and I needed a 1/2" bolt hole. . . The drill is a wonderful tool, it changes the hole in seconds. Good work for a few more years! I would give them 5 stars but the lack of proof of reading their ads speaks against them.

Exactly what it should be

The Hard Rubber V-Bar review isn't really rocket science. Basically what size? That's really the only real question. Arrived super, on time and exactly as in the picture. It was the perfect angle for the bow of the sailboat it was used on. I ended up shaving off the outside edges of the case where the bolt goes through to fit directly into a 2" square piece of steel pipe, but that was on purpose and not a design flaw. So far I haven't seen any markings on the bow but that was then put on theโ€ฆ
