Awesome Raspberry Pi case if you plan on having more than one.

What a trip. It took me just over an hour to assemble the 6 stack tower using only the written instructions that came in the box. There is also an assembly tutorial video on YouTube that you can watch if you run into any problems. The hardest part was probably attaching the base as there are 4 nuts that need to be balanced on an acrylic board during assembly. against the side wall, and any inclination of the panel may cause one or more to slip. This could probably be solved if the bottom plateโ€ฆ

Rugged Compact Powerful Raspberry Pi Case

This is a very compact and rugged case for up to 4 Raspberry Pi 3B+ or 4B boards. All the details are cut and drilled accurately enough. Assembly will take some time as the kit includes many fasteners holding the parts together. As for the case itself, assemble everything loosely, adjust the fit, and then tighten everything up. Some dexterity, patience and/or tweezers are recommended to position some of the small parts for assembly. The circuit boards are attached to acrylic plates that fitโ€ฆ

BIG issues with this case (especially if you want 4B+ PoE)

As mentioned, this is not an easy case and I can usually respect that on my own. Although the creators say this is meant to be a "useful" build, it definitely isn't, as I've found it to be nothing but disappointing throughout, even now that it's been completed. For me, I can't really pinpoint what the problem is at the design or implementation level, but from what I understand I've done everything according to the instructions (plus a few more because, let's face it, it's more of a headacheโ€ฆ

Rugged and Portable Cluster Case for Raspberry Pi.

I'm glad I stumbled across the C4Labs Zebra Bramble Cluster Fan Case as it offers more protection than other slim support frames while still being easily accessible and can be connected to all four SBCs. I've wanted to experiment with clustering for a long time, but haven't gotten around to it yet. The construction of the kit consists of rigid outer plastic panels and a similar inner frame, all held together with carefully spaced flanged nuts and bolts. Be careful not to over tighten as theโ€ฆ

Sturdy and good looking

I chose this Raspberry Pi stand mainly for its looks. All other pi racks aren't really that great. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the wooden version was real wood and not some sort of pattern printed onto a piece of plastic. I was a bit hesitant to buy it at first because some of the existing reviews said how difficult it was to build. I personally didn't find assembly very difficult, but the tolerances on the nuts are pretty tight, and several times I had to tap them lightly with aโ€ฆ

  • Upgradeable

Took me about 3 hours to assemble and the end product was disappointing. I wouldn't build this again and will probably return for a half price standard pi rack. Positives: - It looks nice - I can remove individual Pis without taking the rack apart which is required with other rack designs. - The fans are quiet and work well. Cons: - Assembly requires inhuman assembly skills. There is a point where you will need to balance the 8 screws while attaching the part to the rest of the assembly. Greatโ€ฆ

Know What You're Getting Into

This is a stackable case with built in cooling for 6 Pi boards. There isn't much room for hats and GPIO access is very limited. However, it went well with my first multi-board project and I went with it. Materials can be fragile and like some other reviewers, my kit arrived with a few breakages. Kudos to C4Labs who sent me a replacement via priority mail as soon as I contacted them. Assembly is tricky and is made worse by the fact that the parts themselves are not clearly labeled to help youโ€ฆ
