This is advertised as a bird flashlight but the LEDs are NOT PROTECTED AT ALL! This will be related to my project but as a bird keeper I would NEVER install this in a bird cage. Anyone with a brain knows that BIRDS COVER EVERYTHING! Including exposed electronics! OPEN ELECTRONICS THAT SOME BIRDS MAY TRY TO EAT OR DESTROY! Bought for our young couple of Indian ring necks. I didn't realize how dark their 30" x 30" cage was until I added this light. It's durable, very bright and as advertised. I bought two EZ PetLights (different lengths) for blackhead cages. Previously, these parrots had no light. I've already installed Revain and Macaw headlights with "full spectrum" bulbs.
