Great boots but a size too small

These boots are very comfortable and warm. I don't work in construction, but I am a handyman in the home. When I get home I take off my shoes and put them on to start work in the garage or at home. I don't spend much as these were the most expensive shoes I have ever bought. But they are worth it! I usually wear a size 10.5 but I had to return them and then even returned a size 10 because they were too big. Finally 9.5 fits perfectly.

Pros
  • Goodyear welt construction and Carhartt rubber sole
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Strange shoe. If I wanted red.

An incomprehensible boot, sure. If I wanted to splurge on Red Wings or any other well-known brands in the $300-$350 range, I would buy them. These are semi-serious work boots in the $150 range. If you are a shoe lover then this is not for you. Wearing at home and shopping, good ankle support at age 66 is close to perfect. I recently retired and don't need anything more durable than these. I only bought them for two reasons. Better grip than sneakers and the hipster look that seems so popularโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The shin measures about the ankle from the arch of the foot
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The best work boot ever!

A 20 year search for the perfect work shoe is over. My husband has tried every work boot imaginable. Wolverine, Red Wings, Die Hard. All of them, I can go on and on. The last thing he had were Georgia boots (they were terrible). Eventually I bought him a Carhartt. to Father's Day. Usually most boots have a "breaking in period" that takes a few days, but he came home after the first day and said they were the most comfortable work boots he'd ever worn! He's on his feet ALL day and said he wouldโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Waterproof and breathable Storm Defender. This shoe is designed to be fully waterproof, keeping your feet dry in most types of wet conditions. The waterproof and breathable membrane keeps your feet dry but promotes air circulation.
Cons
  • Contact seller

Don't hesitate to try a pair

I've probably written 2 or 3 reviews of Revain in the last 10 years but that's not my job. But these boots deserve one thing. I've been looking for a good pair of work boots for ten years. I work in agriculture, I raise cattle every day. I wear them to the office, I wear them everywhere. I'm telling you, they are damn cool. Crap usually destroys skin and soles very quickly, but it's not a fact that I've only had them for a month. But in winter here I will destroy all Anderson Bean Bootsโ€ฆ

  • Negative impression

Disappointed Good for men

Due to mixed reviews I didn't know what to expect. Delivery was quick. Update check after 160 hours of use Update 06/12/2020 Although the boots fit and feel good, there are some issues. I was wrong in my first impression. They don't breathe at all, I understand they're waterproof or resistant, but I think there are better technologies that other boot manufacturers have already proven. I think the biggest problem with them is the lining and inserts. Other reviews smelling them are absolutelyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Heel measures approx 1.5"
Cons
  • Some imperfections

I've had several pairs of boots before, not Carhartt, Steel Toes, Carbon Toes, Docs, Cactus. They call it. My problem was that I no longer work in construction and don't use boots except for camping and light housework. My other boots were struggling, getting heavy, after a while my feet started to hurt, the laces were difficult to lace up etc. I needed a pair of boots for camping, desert/mountain touring and projects around the house. I also needed a lighter shoe and opted for aโ€ฆ
