As others have said these steps are very well done and easy to install. The slope is a bit wider than others and also a bit longer which makes them especially suitable for 4WD trucks.

Why didn't I buy this sooner. It's wider than the standard step so I don't have to look down to put my foot down. Ideal for city trucks. I would recommend something with a stronger mount for serious off-road use.

Will take them off and throw them away. Huge waste of money, I'm embarrassed they're on my truck. The picture speaks for itself. UPDATE: I finally got these things off and it was as hard as it sounds. Complete garbage. Stay away.

Additional tools needed: Bench grinder Square drill Uni-bit with 1/8" steps 5/16" socket (magnetic) Something to shave with / Cut off about 3/16" from the top of each bracket. Solid product, easy to install

Easy to install once you know what instructions and screws to use. Common sense helped a lot here. It does "flex" (actually the sheet metal flexes of the truck) when used, but not enough to make it look like a problem. The wide step gives a lot more room to shoot / walk backwards to avoid bumps at attachment points etc.

Installation on my 1989 Ford Econoline 4x4 Van took over an hour for the first step and about 15 minutes each for the next two. The video of Carr's funeral is good and helpful. This is my second pair of these steps and I love them. They are an absolute must for me as I deliver from my van all day so get in and out 20 or 30 times a day and they are really easy on my back. The last set lasted seven years on the wagon and we're still whole when I sold them. I weigh 240 pounds and have never worn them out and they have never buckled or sagged. Excellent build quality, the brackets look a bit light for strength but the sheet metal they are attached to is thinner metal. Then they're good so it's ok, mine was installed by me on a 1991 Dodge Ram 250 diesel to help my mom get into a big truck, she's almost 80 and we go camping all summer.
