Just as good as SNAP-ON on crimping pliers

Very well made pliers set. Easy to handle and very easy to use. I used the SNAP-ON-Thease version and the Channel Lock set is just as good. The price wasn't bad either. There are cheaper pliers at Revain (various brands) but they really do give you value for the money. I use it every day and to be honest I've crimped about 500 photos and apart from the black ink that wears off with daily use it's a solid tool in a mechanical home drawer or in a production environment. In any case, they will…

Best I've ever used

Not sure why there are bad reviews. The best anyone can use and unmatched. Before crimping, make sure you are using tight fitting terminals. If you use big terminals on small wires it will be unreliable and fall off. Use red terminals on small wires, blue terminals on 16 gauge wires, and yellow terminals on 14 gauge wires. The terminal should be 80 percent full of wire before crimping. I have been in the pool maintenance business for over 40 years. This channel blocking tool is the best I have…

Easy and reliable crimping, always

A few months ago I bought a trendy ratcheting crimping tool because I wanted to up my wiring game. I was disappointed in the quality of the crimp the expensive tool produced. Not only that, they weren't attractive either. I bought this tool because I didn't have the confidence to crimp my expensive tool. I also bought bare butt connectors to go with them. Using it with non-insulated butt connectors gives such a nice squelch every time. But wait, there's more! Crimps are SUPER strong for bare…

By far my favorite crimping tool

"Well those are channel locks." I really have to say something else. I mean, you just can't lose with channel blocking. They've been around a long time and make great products. There are many different brands of crimping machines: Snapon, Klein, Irwin, Greenlee, and a few other crimping machines, and I've probably tried them all. This channel lock crimping tool is my choice. I always have a few pairs in stock. Of all the pliers on the market I find these to be the best value for money. They…

Does what the Made in USA tool is supposed to do!

I used this crimping tool to crimp over 500 23AWG forked connectors for BMS leads on my LTO SCiB batteries. Everything I've tried so far to get them glued other than soldering hasn't worked. I was amazed that I could crimp the terminals without piercing the plastic around the crimping area of the terminals. I have such a good cold crimp that I couldn't remove the terminals. They tire my arms a bit and I had to rest for a few minutes after every 25 presses. My hands have been in severe pain for…
