They Won't Stay in the Lid of my Standard Size Compost Bin. They fall down from above and land on the composted food every time the lid is opened. Measure the same size as the filter that came with the canister so not sure what the difference is.

True to size but very thin. I had problems with a filter that regularly fell into the compost bin. I solved the problem by using a small strip of tin to hold it in place. I'll probably buy OEM filters when they run out.

I bought these to use in face masks to mitigate the effects of COVID-19. They are about 1/4" thick, so a bit thick for this application. I made a pocket in the mask and cut the filter to fit in. (To make the pocket I used the bottom of the 2-ply mask left open and added a velcro to close.)

These are great filters. I have a compost bin under the kitchen sink. I'm amazed at how well it absorbs odors. I used to have a basket with no filter, and just a few days later when I threw the trash in, I could smell it when I opened the closet. With this new canister and filters there is absolutely no smell. They are also easy to replace.

I don't have a Holmes composter but do have a small Holmes air purifier that appears to be discontinued/filters are discontinued. I have severe allergies and while waiting for a plumber to fix a latent mold problem we found in our bathroom we all brought our air purifiers into the bathroom. I was going to change the filter on Holmes as soon as I put it out of service but I couldn't find a filter for it anymore. I ordered and glued in these carbon filters, which are not exactly a centimeter…
