Childrens Magic Paper Butterflies Cards Review

The butterflies are a lot bigger than I thought. not too big just a very good size. Haven't used them yet but I've tested them and they work great.

You are really nice but let me tell you that you have to follow the instructions. If you don't turn on that bad boy like he says, plus a few more spins, your cute little butterfly will shatter and burn.

These butterflies work great! They should be tighter than you think. Also, make sure you place them correctly on the map. It's a good idea to practice once or twice. I liked the reaction from my mother and daughter when they opened their cards.

I was very disappointed with this product especially as it was expensive. It doesn't fly off the map as shown in the video. It's very hard to hit the card and then when the person opens the card they just flop into the card. Doesn't rotate like a video.

This is one of the best clockwork butterflies for cards. The wire is light enough for the butterfly to fly. Butterflies with plastic parts do not soar. Not that it rose high in the air, but it didn't fall straight to the ground either. The flight lasts only a few seconds, but the view is priceless. I just wish they weren't so expensive.

The picture shows the original patented Magic Butterfly from Magic Flyer Int. which is what I expected. Instead I got myself a FLYENG BUTTERFLY made in China. Big difference in design, materials and elegance. If I wanted a Chinese imitation, I would choose another supplier and get a better unit price.

Fun to stake. I always warn the recipient to open carefully and they are still surprised when a butterfly flies out. They can be used over and over again as long as the elastic doesn't break, but I haven't seen that happen. I'm deducting one star because I bought three from a store a few years ago and the colors were lighter - same color scheme but lighter tones and therefore prettier.

These butterflies will really brighten up any birthday party (young or old). I usually tell toddlers to be careful when opening a card. It was my nine year old grandson's birthday a few days ago and I wrote (3) on his card but didn't warn him (or the rest of the family watching). There were real screams, then laughter. You might want to warn those with faint hearts. It's so much fun when there's something new and different for people to do. They really make a fluttering noise. Better with two…
