The metal can be weak. in force

when punching with two teeth, one of the teeth broke off. Maybe just a bad product. The rest of the set works great.

Pros
  • punching
Cons
  • there are nuances

Broke after the third use.

Tips broke off on third use. I'm not sure if the metal was weak or what. Not a very good value. I liked their looks but I would very much like them to last.

Pros
  • Includes 1 2-tooth chisel, 1 5-tooth chisel and 1 10-tooth chisel.
Cons
  • Not bad

Good for the price

working. They're rough on the teeth, so a bit of grinding helps. But you have to sand too much to make them smooth and polished. In general they are cheap. I've threaded them through the thick leather and they haven't buckled yet.

Pros
  • Leatherworking
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Needs polishing to improve distance

teeth not polished but I expected that at this price point. I spent some time on fine sandpaper and got a pretty rough surface. Another hour or so of finer grit should improve it somewhat. Be careful not to round off the tips when polishing, especially on the 10 tooth. I now like to have a 10 tooth to make straighter stitch lines than a 4 or 6 and the price was right. Spending 80+ for a beautifully polished Blanchard iron is out of my budget.

Pros
  • stamping and punching
Cons
  • Doubtful

Arrived as described.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and sharp condition of these punctures. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the sides of the teeth of each iron are not polished and this causes the iron to stick to the skin after being hit with a hammer. You have to be very careful when you pull them out, I crumpled up some stitching holes and the holes look a bit rough. For the most part, though, I'm happy with the value of this toolbox. They don't work on expensive skins as they can leave…

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Some Mistakes
