Cordovan Men's Columbia Peakfreak Venture Waterproof Shoes Review

I really like these shoes. They are very comfortable. They're great for spring and fall when the weather is too cool for breathable sneakers but too warm for winter boots. They feel solid without being overly heavy or clunky. The traction also makes for a pretty solid grip on the ground.

The best shoes I've found for working in the store. A bit small for a size 13 but close enough. My thumb doesn't like bending backwards too much and these shoes feel like they drop the insole a bit in the front; really takes the pressure off my toe when on my knees. The laces tend to loosen to the point of becoming rough, but that's my only complaint!

This model in "regular" width is probably the best shoe I've ever had and I'm 60. In "regular" width it runs narrow. I ordered the wide version as soon as I saw them but they are identical to the narrow ones I have as far as I can tell or measure. (Maybe the top is wider? - not good) These are unusual shoes. I wish they would have spread it widely, but it doesn't. I checked the Columbia website and couldn't find a large size. This order widely speaks in the language, but still none. I checked…

This is my third pair of shoes that I have bought. To me they are true to size. Since they are all leather, it will take me a few days to wear them before they fit my feet. The insole and insole provide sufficient cushioning. Waterproof is a big plus. I'm not done with my previous second pair but bought them to have on hand. It seems that Columbia still sells this model and could only find it at Revain.

They are waterproof as advertised but they are not very comfortable. I feel the shoes are too flat (e.g. my tops/toes hurt after wearing them all day). You can't bend your leg too far without fear of tearing your shoes (don't try to walk in them).

Comfortable, fits almost every pair of trousers, very durable! I wear them to work every day, do a lot of walking and cycling and they still look great and fit great! I was skeptical at first, but these are my new favorite shoes.

I bought these slippers to walk the dog early in the morning when the grass is wet with dew. Easy to put on, comfortable and waterproof

good looking. Spit on the yellowing of the laces, but it can be replaced. They definitely run small, especially narrow ones. This warms up the legs. I had to switch to thinner socks, then everything worked. I have narrow feet so they must be very narrow.

As soon as I put the shoes on, I could feel the quality of the construction. Not a hack at all. They fit my feet better than any shoe I've ever worn.

Very warm and comfortable shoes! I got them a week ago and have been wearing them every day since - they are good everywhere. Not all Columbia shoes are this comfortable, but these really exceeded my expectations.

I've worn them in the rainforest and walked around town in the pouring rain. Grip, comfort and waterproofing are all good. Not a drop has passed. In warm weather, like most waterproof shoes, they are quite warm. I'm very happy with the purchase and glad I wasn't looking for the more expensive option.

I use these shoes for everyday situations as they are whimsical. It's amazing when I use them for hiking. Absolutely waterproof. Will probably buy a second pair in a different color

My brother wears a size 16 and being over 50 comfort is a priority. This shoe is Joe's casual shoe that offers support, comfort and style. His legs don't look any bigger than they really are, he loves it!

I've had them for almost 2 years now, the best shoes I've ever had, they hold together really well, I use them for hiking and walking in the summer, totally waterproof, the best shoes I've had when they have it tomorrow do fall apart. The money is worth the best shoes ever.

The shoes fit and look great. The main problem is the laces. You have to pull on them really hard to make a strong connection. If you use it standing for a long time and your feet start to hurt, you need a better insole

The fit is good, the lace eyelet near the toe digs into the foot. Hiking is not so comfortable, thought I'd buy some more quality

I always put in an arch insert and go up a half size no matter what shoes I buy. I walk up and down the step hill every day and need them especially on the way back. Now I wear them all day, even when I train in the PickleBall. I'll order a few more.

Good fit, good quality, comfortable to wear all day. The all-black presentation makes it wearable in a business setting (at least in West Texas). After that I can go for a walk every day without changing my shoes.

I only lasted about a year before the leather started peeling off the sole of the boot, when that happens it's basically useless, water got into my feet. I've had cheaper boots that last longer than these. I'm very disappointed because I thought it was great. high quality boot
