Cat fire hazard

Can't tell if it worked or not. My cat still seems crazy. More importantly, it almost started a fire in my house today. I used to only use it once and today I plugged it in after changing the refill cartridge and noticed a strong smell of smoke in my house. I went to check it out and it was literally smoking and the plastic on the cone had melted, burned and exposed the wires on the back of the cabinet. I don't want to discount the potential benefits of spraying Feliway, but I would NOT use it…

Product works but there is a MAJOR FIRE HAZARD

I don't usually write reviews but was hoping it might encourage the makers of this product to make changes if I did. I think the pheromone solution itself is great and has helped reduce stress induced carpet urination in our cat. That being said, I think the diffuser is in dire need of an update. Whatever plastic it's made of, it doesn't hold up to high enough heat and will eventually start to melt enough to expose the wiring behind the plastic cage. This is a major FIRE HAZARD to me and should

Worth every penny Best of Cats

This is a must-have product for us. We have a cat that we rescued as a kitten. She used to be wild. She has so many anxiety and behavior issues. She scratches and destroys things, fights with our other cat, pees everywhere, frantically begs for food etc. We took her to the vet to check for urinary problems, diabetes and hypothyroidism. She was all negative, so our vet concluded her issues were behavioral and recommended we try Feliway before switching to prescription anxiety medication. Once we

. You must be one of the "90% effective" clients. Unfortunately, this product didn't work for me. Tried it in multiple rooms for two months - still no change in permanent spraying/marking. Our cat began marking our new home amid several months of territorial disputes with my wife's older dog. Our cat was seen by the vet who advised us to keep exercising/playing with him and giving him time to establish his territory outside. Over time, this approach proved successful. Feliway made no difference

It really works! - Relaxers

I have a cat that was rescued from a storm sewer under the road when he was a very small kitten. She then moved into a house with two rowdy boys for a few months before I adopted her. She was afraid of many things: loud noises, squeaky mouse toys, scratching noises, neighbors' cars and starting our generator. When I say she was frightened by those sounds, I mean she awoke from a deep sleep and ducked for cover. Feliway has worked wonders for her. I can only tell by their behavior when it starts

No winner for the cat household

Together with our nine year old cat (Sweet Pea) we lived a happy life and brought a little stray kitten (Leo) into our house. After a few weeks, Cutie began marking the house as her territory. After about a month, Leo was given to some friends, and Sweet Pea's behavior softened, but very rare splashes remained in their habits. Not acceptable for us. Feliway to the rescue - No! Bought two sets of diffusers and installed them. They said it would take about a month for the diffusers to start…

A miracle happened!

I brought a new cat into my house and she started an all out war with my other two cats. My older cats, ages 11 and 13, started peeing on my new bed and leather sofa. I've googled and tried everything and I mean everything I can think of and all the ideas I've come across. I've spent hundreds of dollars to fix this problem. I've separated the cats, tried covering the whole couch with duct tape, essential oils, soothing treats, soothing collars, extra litter boxes, extra bowls of food and water,

I believe in health products

If you had asked me five days ago if this product worked, I would have said I wasn't sure. How to judge a cat's behavior You are one of the most unpredictable creatures I have ever known. Our problems arose due to the appearance in the family of a new animal from the cat family. Our other (older) cat wasn't pleased at all. My husband joked that we were hoping she wouldn't pack her bags and leave. She was beside herself with anger. As she retreated to the basement, hissing and growling every…
