I've just started using these bags but so far they're holding up pretty well. I looked at the reviews of many eco-friendly bags before deciding on a brand and most said they couldn't stand the humidity. Although I don't put anything really wet in them, they handle wet things well. And it works for me. I want to know that they will eventually break in a way that is harmless to the soil while still doing the job I need.

These bags were cheap and quite thick. They are a lot thicker than the ones I bought from the local store (and were cheaper). So far they're working well, but I have one complaint: every few packages fall apart for no reason. I have to be more careful with them not to tear the edges because they tear quite easily which is surprising as they are quite thick. Also, they don't leak and with careful handling I can easily twist and tie them. I just can't fill them. I bought 200 so will be using them

My wife changed the bag and then called me. She showed me that bag after bag was cut open. It must have been done in production as it was somewhere past the middle of the reel as we have already used many of these on this reel with no problems.
