Great little tool for heavy tools

Great socket set. Small form easily fits in my overflowing tool bag. As a refrigeration mechanic, these sockets are used several times a week.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So far so good

This box has much better locks and hinges than the old

Replaced a 30 year old 1/4" Craftsman set with this set. This box has much better locks and hinges than the old one. Won't last much longer so good will probably use an old ratchet.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Band

Good 1/4 drive. fits sockets and socket sets

Very good 1/4 socket set. The quality of craftsmanship is retained even if the owner changes. I'm very fortunate to have a lot of vintage Craftsman tools that I've collected over the years, but I needed extra 1/4 socket wrenches and an extra ratchet for that to help.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Negative torque present

Perfect size for those hard to reach places

It's hard to find a 1/4" ratchet wrench in a size that can handle a lot of torque in places without breaking. The extension cord in this set is hard to find, handy size. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Hard to beat for the price!

Decent quality tools (better than those sold on HD or Lowes) at a very good price, I'm picky about my tools and the latest craft stuff seems pretty reliable , not Snap On or Matco Solid, the average home clerk will be good at servicing new handyman hand tools.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • The Secret

Great set of 1/4 " sockets

Great set of 1/4" sockets. I just chose Masters because of the lifetime warranty. Just this month I took my broken ratchet to Sears and they replaced it with no questions asked. This racquet was about 25 years old. Also, the tools are great.

Pros
  • Handy part
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Don't buy - the jets were bad - they didn't hold the wrench!

The heads were ground incorrectly and do not hold on the key! They fall off the key because the dimensions of the square hole (to fit the key) are too large. The key itself seems fine. This was the case with most sockets included in the kit. A few outlets were fine. It obviously failed quality control somewhere, and it looks like the kit could be a factory defect.

Pros
  • A dream comes true
Cons
  • Exchange option

The ratchet did not work like new. Great design, poor processing control.

The new one didn't work (just snapped in one direction, stuck in the other) so disassembled. A simple, reliable mechanism that seemed inherently very strong (all forces go through large strong sections). There was a burr on one side of the hole, just a manufacturing defect, enough to cause the mechanism to bind. basically a bad implementation of a known design. You get what you pay for I guess.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
