Rubbish don't waste your time.

Poor quality. Inconsistent didn't always work when I went straight to the sensor. I definitely cannot rely on this sensor being used in my emergency circuits. Don't waste your time and money on this.

Very sensitive and not well shielded from EMI.

This IR sensor is very sensitive and susceptible to interference from the RPi 3B+ to which it is connected. Had to move the PIR about 2ft away from the RPi or you would get a lot of false alarms. The device is protected against RF and electromagnetic interference, and false alarms have disappeared.

All you need is the current specification from the manufacturer.

This compact peer module is ideal for a physical intrusion detection, alarm and interaction system I am building for a server room. I'm currently using it on 5V. It would be nice to have a datasheet so I can determine the effect of changing the voltage and current applied to the module. I've posted a picture of the Arduino sketch I use to determine how long the output pin stays high after motion is detected. If you see a picture you can use the code. Change the PIN to the one you use.
