💡 DEWENWILS 15ft COB LED Work Light: Powerful 1200LM with Magnet, Swivel Hook - ETL Listed Review

I bought this light for brake and engine work. Used light about 6 hours in total. No drips, no problems, I found the light bright enough and was happy. The lamp was rolled up and placed on my shelf. I only took it out to use and it doesn't burn. The green light is on, indicating there is power, but the light output is zero.

Bright and very comfortable lamp. I owned it for about a week and used it almost every day for the odd garage project. It's well made and I love the extra plugin functionality it offers. Super comfortable. The hook is plastic and doesn't seem to last very long. I'd rather pay a few bucks extra for a metal hook. But time will tell. So far everything is working great and I'm working off my money.

It ends up like all shop lights: dirty, scratched and eventually broken. That's exactly what happens to them. However, it has a large cord, the extra plug on the unit is handy, there's plenty of light, and it's a good weight. Feels heavier in hand than expected, which is good (IMHO). The magnet is strong enough to easily hold it in any position. I expect the hook to break first but so far it has been stable.

Overall a good product. Cons for me is the plastic hanging hook which is a bit thicker than plastic hangers and can break pretty quickly. This is how I noticed the magnet and tested it by placing it on the fridge. It slid to the floor as I believe the magnet wasn't strong enough to hold it, although it was sticky just didn't stay in place. Pros: Bright. That's it. I have several different quality LED lights, this one isn't the cheapest but behaves like it should be $10 in an Ace hardware bin. There were 2 within a year. I bought it to replace the old glowing mess. This LED emergency light is very bright - much, much brighter than the old fluorescent it replaces. I like that it switches to full brightness instantly (unlike my old one, which warms up in minutes in cold weather). I've only been using it for a few weeks, but so far it's been taking short drops with no problems.
