Improved gasket suitable for RV parts and accessories

Replacing gaskets on Dometic 711/M-28 toilets is a chore, but once everything is removed it's not so bad. This seal kit costs a lot more than generics, but after seeing the improved seal I'm hoping it will last more than a summer before it starts leaking. They stink when they leak, but this one holds water for now.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • So far so good

Water stays in bowl :)

2006 Keystone Laredo. I couldn't keep water in the toilet until I replaced the old gasket with this one. I have a toilet model number 210. Overall this gasket is fairly easy to replace as my entire cup is basically held in place by a single screw collar assembly holding two crescent shaped plastic collars. The toilet now holds water like a champ. The seal works as it should. I was there almost a month.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Replaced a toilet gasket on my 2012 Thor Majestic 23A.

Replaced the toilet seal in my 2012 Thor Majestic 23A. Toilet model Dometic/Sealand 511+. I bought the wrong gasket kit based on a parts list I found online for this toilet. Apparently, if the toilet was made after 2000, this is the correct set of seals. To be 100% sure, before ordering, remove the model number, serial number and serial number from your toilet (sticker on the back where the water hose enters) and email it to Dometic [.]

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Only available in white

Fixed My Leaky Toilet

My toilet hasn't held water in years. From time to time the sewer gas smell got into the bathroom because the seal didn't hold water. I replaced this oil seal and was very happy with the result. The toilet keeps water and no more stinky smells from the cisterns. Installation was easy, all I had to do was loosen the ribbon clamp that holds the bowl to the base. Some grease used to extend seal life. Easy project for everyone!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Reliability

I had problems with the original seal leaking, so I decided to try this option with a hard plastic disc. The seal was easy to install and seemed to keep the water in the tank, but after a few weeks the toilet started smelling like urine. Took the toilet apart and found it was leaking badly. Dropped the stuffing box found that it continued to flow. The clamp doesn't seem to have enough pressure to properly compress this element. worth the price to get a direct replacement that works.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • doubtful purchase for the elderly

Not like in the photo! That's not the one you want!

Two versions of this seal are sold, both with the same part number. I ordered the one in the photo (with two black rubber washers). I received one with a white plastic disc. As you can see from the picture, it looks and functions very differently than the seller's picture. After using both a few times, the one with the white plastic disc doesn't last very long. The rubber seal expands over time and no longer fits into the plastic disc. It shrinks, then leaks and cannot be repaired. Revain…

  • Not all will fit

Good Product - Toilet Replacement Parts

Repairing a wheeled toilet yourself is the only way to get it right. I have an old toilet with old gaskets that have dried out and damaged the bowl. Because the ball is plastic, the old seals will rub against the grooves in the ball, making it unable to hold water. I called the toilet bowl production to find out the price of the repair kit. Their cost was very high compared to Revain. The manufacturer also told me to replace the plastic stock with a new brass stock. I did just that and the ball

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Unreliable

Fits Sancor Envirolet dometic porcelain composting toilet

I bought an envirolet vacuflush low water holding porcelain drying cabinet with an outdoor composter. Two years later, when the seal was leaking and the toilet wouldn't hold water, I tried to get the part from Sancor. They didn't have the part and they sent me to a number in Florida that didn't have the part. Went back to Sancor and spoke to Frank, the guy who emailed him the request. It was at this point that I realized I had to unscrew the plastic rim and metal clip to remove the bowl. This…
