Type of review

I have no idea how doll needles are traditionally used, but these needles are 3+ inches long in of length, sufficiently sharp and well hardened. I found that a little manual sharpening/buffing improved the penetration and passage of the fabric. I've used them to pull running stitches through jeans and sweatpants in both crochet yarn and cotton yarn. A must-have for any manual stapler's toolbox.

Just what I needed

I started hand weaving using a technique called hidden knot quilting and the instructions recommend using 1 length doll needles of at least 5 inches I decided to buy them because the instructor suggested this brand. I received them today and will do them immediately. With the help of a needle threader I was able to easily thread the pearl cotton I chose. The needle eye is very smooth on the inside and the thread can slide through the eye very easily, unlike normal needles with a large eye. I…

- They are a little different than what I need, but they are of a high quality as I have come to expect from Dritz. Perfectly smooth, not a hint of burr anywhere, and surprisingly strong for something so long and thin!
