Didn't work for me - Fish and aquatic animals

I wish I had just overlooked it. Organic granules are not for me. I started on 1/8th the recommended dose and the next morning I started losing sps tissue. Then on the second day I lost two entire colonies. I work with organic granules for some, but that's not for me. If your reef already has p and n in the normal range, I would consider other ways to achieve an extremely nutrient poor system. Maybe my problem was that I didn't have enough nutrients for the bacteria to live. So 60% water change

Works amazing I think?

I had to put my 45 gallon tank up after about 2 weeks of cycle. Ammonia by 0.5, nitrite by 0.5, nitrate by 0.1. Put 1/2 the recommended dose in the reactor and two days later all the readings went to 0 and I had a diatom burst. The diatoms were gone and I put my fish and other corals from my smaller tank in there, but still no nitrite or ammonium nitrate was found. This has never happened to me with any product before. I've only been using them for about 1 month but I'd say they're working…

This is a great product that really works.

DrTims Active Pearls In my opinion an excellent product. I've definitely seen a difference in nitrate levels since putting them in my media reactor. I sat in the 30ppm range before I started using them and now they are undetectable. At first I started slowly, as the instructions say, and then gradually increased the number of pellets in the reactor. The only thing I did differently was that in the first month I still put coal in the second chamber of the reactor. I stopped using charcoal this…

Magic ball! best in Aquarium Water Treatments

I bought a medium sized jar with a short trial period of this product (enough to get started) and started using it about 6 weeks ago. At first I couldn't get the product to tumble as it would just pool on the top of the jar and clog the strainer causing flow issues. I toggled the toggle switch off daily, dropped the beads to the bottom of the device, and then restarted it after the screen cleared. I added more beads I ordered from Revain, it took about 2 weeks for the beads to start falling…

These are good, useful pellets with a few downsides.

This is just a first review. I've had them for a month or two now and it's hard to tell how well they work. What I can tell you is that my nitrates in my 75 gallon reef aquarium have been at 0 ppm for the past month. I can also tell you that phosphates were low for the most part, although at times they went up a bit (the highest I saw was 0.25ppm). In terms of N/P reduction, I give it a good rating. I will also install a shelter which is more expensive and requires more maintenance but I think…
