I thought it was some kind of metal but it's very thin plastic with a chrome finish. I think it's my fault for not looking closely. It's still working well after a few months, but I don't think it will last too long or become a permanent solution. the time will show

I gave it 3 stars because it is not compatible with US sinks. That looks great. I ended up using it on an outdoor kitchen sink where the drain is always clogged and causing leaks. Externally threaded bits (or adapters) are required on each end. don't forget the plumber's spatula.

Stars are misleading. They want you to appreciate the thickness, clarity and ease of installation it goes well with, but I'll give them one star, because it's a mess with a leak.The gaskets that come with the kit don't fit properly to ensure a good seal.So plan on buying some clear sealant and adding it to the o-rings.This will work but won't everything that comes with the whistle.
