Enhance Your Steering with Edelmann 8801 Power Steering Pump Seal Kit Review

Although advertised as a perfect fit for a 2006 Sienna steering pump, it did not work. all but a few joints are either wrong or too thick compared to the originals. I will ask for a refund.

If you can remove and reinstall the power steering pump you should have no problems with this kit. You'll likely need some shop towels and carb/brake cleaner to clean your pump before disassembly.

This kit contains everything you need to overhaul your pump. Arrived quickly and as stated in the description. The pump rebuild saved me over $120 compared to my local parts store. Very easy to convert, just four screws and the locking ring provided.

This is my second edit. I have to apologize for the misleading first review. I thought my pump was leaking, but it's not. The leak most likely came from under the valve cover gasket and has now been fixed. The kit worked fine. However, the important seal for the oddly shaped high-pressure hose, which I had to buy separately, is missing.

Not effective. Installation was pretty easy, not much for a power steering pump, but now the pump leaks between the front and back of the main body, which wasn't the case before. Put the old gasket back in place and it won't drip there like it used to. Saving some money is frustrating and it will cost you more in the future. On the other hand, the front pump hub worked well. There are no leaks.
