As soft as a fleece, this duvet has 3 settings to keep you warm and snuggly on those cold nights. I just leave mine on the couch.

I received the same brand but a different blanket I bought it because of the 8 hour auto shut off. The one I received only has a 4 hour auto shut off. It doesn't get very hot either. Will come back and buy something else.

Heats up quickly and reaches a comfortable temperature. I love the auto shut off, it stays warm long enough for me to fall asleep and wake up comfortably without getting overheated. The material is nice and soft and it's even machine washable, which is a nice plus.

Overall this is a good electric blanket. The cable length is great. It's long enough to reach outlets but has some wiggle room to put the remote where you need it. Heats up very quickly, less than 5 minutes. The materials used feel great. Very soft and cozy. The automatic switch-off function also works.

This electric blanket is perfect for watching TV on cold winter evenings. As other reviewers have said, it doesn't get exceptionally hot. However, it will be warm enough to keep out the cold. Remember that when you buy this item you are NOT buying an electric blanket. The electric blanket is used for sleeping, so you need to turn it off for at least 8 hours, not four hours.
