This is the best way to prevent neck pain while falling asleep while travelling. Saw this in a Sky Mall magazine while flying one day and thought it might help save my neck when sleeping in a vehicle. I ordered one shortly after and have never regretted it. I have a third one because I keep losing them on planes. A great gift for any traveler who can sleep while moving.

I have neck problems and used to wake up with neck pain and migraines, I started wearing a sleep collar backwards (front opening) every night and now I have no neck pain and just a few migraines every now and then. I have a very wide neck (18-19) and this collar was too small in diameter to be practical. It kept my neck perfectly straight during my 9 hour flight while I was awake, but choked me when I fell asleep. There is also an internal plastic ring which I believe is meant to stiffen the collar and help it hold its shape. I sleep very well on the plane. I can sleep with the best of them sitting down, and there's nothing more soothing to me than the white noise of an airplane.
