Great HEPA filter for Bissell vacuums, especially for allergy sufferers. Huge difference since I started using my Bissell. I always had an attack of sneezing after vacuuming, but after changing vacuum cleaner brands there were no more problems with allergies! When I took out my old filter I was surprised at how dark it was - this post filter really works!

Luckily I didn't throw away my old Bissell Pet Vac but used it this fall although it clearly needed a new HEPA filter. My sister is looking forward to using the pet vacuum cleaner again! Very efficient, even more so than the lighter ORECK or the really "light" Shark. My sister can pick up a pet vacuum cleaner and is used to cleaning it afterwards. I need a little shark to clean surfaces which is cost effective. We are blessed!

This filter was an exact replica of my original Bissell filter in size, quality, fit and appearance. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was that the label indicating which side of the filter faces in was not glued properly, ie. Legs up. The filter will never fit like this, but if you just turn it (or the label) inside out, it will fit perfectly. I looked up the name of the importer/seller, called him and informed him of the problem.
