DURABLE, TOUGH DOOR LOCK LATCH: Secures both doors of all semi-trailers by locking the two innermost vertical locking bars together. Easy use, no mounting required. KEEP YOUR BELONGINGS SECURE: Secures the landing gear hand crank in place preventing the landing gear from being raised. KEYED SECURITY LOCK: Built in high security barrel lock system or combination lock. Set 4 digit code. HIGH QUALITY SEMI TRUCK ACCESSORIES: Powder-coated red for high visibility and to help resist corrosion. Made with a tubular pin tumbler lock for pick resistance. PERFECT SIZE: Adjustable to fit doors with vertical locking bars from 9-3/4" to 16" apart. Made of two square steel tubes, one 2" and one 2-1/2", with 3/16โ€ thick walls. An extension is available for the Heavy Duty Cargo Door Lock for odd size container bars 17-23 inches apart.

Great lock, misleading ad info

I am pleased that the lock itself is very well made and will definitely buy another one. However next I would buy direct from the manufacturer, the price on their website is the same and their website gives you the option to add additional keys to the order. Prior to purchasing from Revain I asked a direct question about purchasing additional keys and was told that I would need to contact the manufacturer upon receipt of the product. I did just that and then the manufacturer told me I needed to

If they did it with a click on the sales page (even to increase the value) that would be great, I would be willing to wait to get a similar key.

The only thing I can blame for this is the difficulty in getting versions with the same keys. I didn't know this was an option, but now it appears in the questions that it's possible. If they did it with one click on the sales page (even to increase the cost) that would be great, I would be willing to wait to get the same key versions. In this case, the first 10 I need for the containers quickly are delivered within a limited time window. I have 20 containers and half of them are locked withโ€ฆ

Great lock even though it was cut off my skittle box!

First of all, no matter how much you protect your box, someone who decides to get in will find a way. It may seem strange but I will buy this product again despite the fact that it has been compromised. on my box and all my things are stolen. I have a security camera and it took me over an hour to pick the lock. He wasn't trying to attack the lock itself, but rather the "arms" on the sides of the lock that wrap around the locking bars. Turns out he was using some sort of scissors (large boltโ€ฆ
