The fan was fairly easy to install by following the included instructions carefully and step by step. The remote worked great and the fan responded instantly and quickly, which is a big improvement over the fan that was replaced. All in all a great product that does what it promises.

My poor old 12 year old FanTastic finally died of natural causes. This kit was used to breathe new life into an old fan and it worked GREAT! However, there was a small problem. The supplied remote control did not work. I contacted the seller through Revain and they requested a photo of the remote and sent me a replacement asap, problem solved.

I like it, it's worth converting to have a remote control. But. I emailed support 8 months ago and never got a reply. I eventually found out that their jumper instructions were wrong (backwards for me). I only get 7 speeds in either direction. "Inflate" is pretty much useless anyway. I can no longer open the ventilation without the fan running. The remote works well from almost every line of sight, but I wish it was less symmetrical because I often use it in the dark in the middle of the night.

This unit upgrades an existing fantastic manual fan so that the dome opens and the fan turns on at the push of a button. At nearly $200 it's no bargain, but if you can decipher the instructions it works as advertised. Some of the steps in the guide are almost impossible to complete without removing the fan blades, but there is no mention of removal. It took me 4 days and multiple calls to Fantastic Technical Support to get the same question correct and receive installation instructions via email. When it arrived there were no instructions in the box. Whoever sent the box back chose to keep the instructions. And Revain chose not to check all the components that should have been in the box.
