Love it! However, a cordless screwdriver is required for assembly

Very durable. Very nice. You can install the entrance side on both sides of the cabinet. You will need a drill to assemble. The holes are just beginning, it would be difficult to use the included screwdriver manually. The rest of the assembly was easy.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Looks fantastic in Cats

Considering the price I'm really surprised at how great this cabinet is. Easy to assemble. The legs are the only odd part as the v screw holes need to be aligned. Start in the middle, then each end, and it's not difficult at all. Fits very well into the decor of the room and perfectly hides dirt. So glad he's not in the bathroom and feels like I have to sweep every five minutes.

  • There's something to it

Easy to assemble: cats

Easy to assemble. I usually put 1 thing on backwards, but I got it right the first time. Took me about 30 minutes without a drill. Very strong. The only problem I had was my fault. There is a 5th "leg" that runs down the middle for added support. I was lazy and pushed the locker across my rug and the center support caught on the edge of the rug and came loose. But I was almost able to fix it for support.

Assembly issues/adjustment required

Screws for 5 legs do not match the casters in the tree, it is very difficult to assemble this part correctly. 2 magnets to close the doors are also out of place. I had to find another way to fix this and the look is very ugly because you can see the white plastic with the magnets even if you close the doors. The build process needs to be updated. I'm a bit frustrated, I didn't expect these issues to arise for the price I paid.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Relatively easy to assemble and some considerations.

You have to be honest about your cat's litter box habits. If they often get wet outside of the crate (not overshoot, but outside of the crate) these types of cabinets may not be for you as they are not solid wood and once the urine seeps under the liner over the chipboard, you will get that smell have there forever. If your kitten is having a hard time keeping them in the box, I recommend using a high-sided litter box. Nature's Miracle makes a box that's nearly 11 inches tall with a sunken…

Mid-Century Contemporary Cat

I appreciate the manufacturer taking the time to attach the bumpers to the corners of the larger pieces. During transportation and even assembly, they remained safe and intact. The corners were in good condition and cleanly cut. This cabinet has a mid-century modern look. The wood is darker and has spots where it looks older with dark browns and blacks. It's pretty durable and lays well on the ground. At 5ft down I feel this is a good piece of furniture. Wood laminate is easy to clean, easy to…

Rubbed my fingers assembling it

I had high hopes for this product when I took it out of the box - chipboard parts are heavy and feel very strong. There were problems with assembly. About half of the screw holes weren't drilled in the board - they were marked, so they were clearly drilled a bit, but nowhere near deep enough to let the screws go in. If you have a drill this should be a quick fix but I don't and I wanted to assemble it so I used screws and the supplied screwdriver to try to create the holes. It worked for the…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

This litter box is supplied unassembled and ready to assemble. The packaging is really well designed, the corners are protected. All parts are clearly labeled according to the diagrams, and the assembly instructions are clear and easy to follow. Most beginners should be able to put it together in about an hour, two at most - much less if you use an electric screwdriver and are used to disassembling furniture. After assembly, the cabinet looks very nice. The two doors swing open to reveal a…
